In December 2011 we received a total of 73 calls (telephone, email and website) for help with koalas and other wildlife. At least 50,000 koalas dead in SEQ
Data released by the Department of Environment and Resource Management http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/wildlife-ecosystems/wildlife/koalas/pdf/koala-hospital-data-1997-may2011.pdf shows that in 14 years and 4 months a total of 21,965 koalas were admitted to wildlife hospitals.
